Johnny FIN, aka John Racciatti, has been on the road doing what he does best: Telling the world about all things FIN. Most recently, he was spotted at Heron Lakes Country Club in Mobile, Ala., for the Miller Lite Scratch Tour.

The Lite Scratch Tour is South Alabama’s premier amateur golf tour. Every month from February through September, there’s a scratch tournament – no handicaps or scrambles – at one of Alabama’s best courses. The competition is fierce but friendly, and FIN is a proud sponsor. Just ask Johnny.

The golfing community returns the love, as well. When golfers smoke FIN e-cigs, there’s no secondhand smoke, no ashes and no spent cigarette butts to sully the meticulously cared-for courses. It’s a win-win.

That’s what our recent Rewrite the Rules bus tour around the South was all about. But we didn’t want to leave out you folks in the rest of the country, either.

If you couldn’t make it to any of our events, all you had to do to get in on the fun was grab a cell phone, snap a pic of yourself with a FIN e-cig and enter it in our Facebook photo contest. Every week, we picked the person with the most votes and sent them some FIN swag.

At the end of the contest, we had a Grand Prize for the biggest vote-getter, and we’re happy to announce that Rick T. of Tennessee is the proud new owner of a stylish FIN cruiser bike!

That was the scene last week at Foodabluza, held at the Wind Creek Casino in Atmore, Alabama. This was a first-time event, and they knocked it out of the park. Fresh Alabama oysters on the half shell, corn on the cob and a BBQ challenge featuring chicken, pork ribs and pork butt kept the crowds from going hungry, and a rockin’ blues lineup that included Kenny Wayne Shepherd and The Atlanta Rhythm Section didn’t disappoint.

Team FIN was on hand to spread the word about our electronic cigarettes. When people got a taste – without the smoke, ash or odor – word got around quickly and our booth stayed busy. Thanks to Erin, Jimmy and the rest of crew for not wandering off to the BBQ pits!

Cigarettes are the most littered item in the United States and the world, according to CigaretteLitter.org. The stained orange and white filters are enough to sully the country’s most beautiful scenery, but in many ways, that’s the least of our worries.

Yup, there was no shortage of good times on FIN’s two-month Rewrite the Rules Bus Tour, but our absolute favorites were the people we met and the reactions we got as we showed smokers in 20 cities how to Rewrite the Rules with FIN e-cigs.

At Mardi Gras, we gave samples to a whole marching band.

Take this guy we met in Daytona. He had heard about e-cigs and wanted to give them a try, but he was worried that he’d miss his analog cigarettes too much. Luckily, he ran into us and we gave him a taste of what he was missing. “I’m surprised at how similar FIN tastes,” he said. “I think these are the way to go.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Then there was a young couple in Austin who were already e-cig converts. We gave them a taste of FIN and they proposed a trade: their e-cigs for ours. We definitely ended up on the losing end of that deal, but hey, it was worth it!
